mmmm! some things just don't quite add up
im not that clued up on euro sunny specs but I do know that uk sunnys had no a/c but did have electric windows (unless that was an optional extra)

the car is deffo a euro sunny but not sure whether an rb or ra model
you need to get it running and drive it to see if its got the rb short ratio g/box and lsd front diff fitted, if so then it will be an rb model

whats the chassis number on it?
pm it to me fred

I'm aware that the one i had had the electric windows and was a "luxe" version and didn't have any a/c, this one seems to be a Rallye version, so no electric windows, no a/c, and no mats on the rear struts....

bob, i just sent you the vin number

Sunny:
Sunny was the badge used for the European-delivered GTI-R. They had a different chassis number of EGNN14, and came in both right hand drive and left hand drive variants. The engine output specifications (220 PS / 162 kW and 267 Nm / 197 lb·ft) were slightly less due to the ecu having different fuel and ignition maps to compensate for the lower octane fuel available in those areas. The Sunny GTI-R had several physical differences to the Pulsar, such as the rear number plate surround and rear fog lights. The interior also varied from the Pulsar with some of the more basic trim from the RB model. In 1992 they were priced in the UK at £20,553.

Hope that helps you out Smile

Im still on the road!
On the trip back home. No problems this morning, nobody on the road. This afternoon its quite diifferent, mano Camping car and miror home, crowded road....hope to be notso disturbed, it remains250km to drive.

About the car, quite untouched! Almost standard apart the shocks!! It nerfs works on the Shell, there is many pokes on the sides...no Rust, it needs a good patchwork!
Even the exhaust is standard!

Ill put some pics this evening.

So, it is not, for sure, a standard model as there is nothing inside...there is not even any tray to put a head unit or the door pocket on the passenger's door....

i think it is a rally model, one the ones needed to homologate the model for the world rally championship.

here some pictures to illustrate the thread. many other will follow. i will need your help to troubleshoot all mistakes and so on to make it driveable and back on the road again!

the truck!

the trip!

the car on the truck on the way back home!

rear bumper need a change

under, all need a good wash...

wheels too....so they are for sale!!

something is missing at the front, isn't it?

sump need to be change too...hope there is nothing it can be damaged above... Sad

driver's door card, simple! hand powered!

as simple as his brother!

dashboard insert is missing, if you have one, i'm interested in to complete!

central box : top cover is broken, so i need a new one too...

that's all for the moment!!!

What i mean fred is the dent in the sump could be stopping oil getting up the engine as that is where the oil pick up pipe is ...hopefully it hasnt been started upto many times as no oil means goodbye engine Rolling Eyes

Awesome! Mad
For sûre the dent is important...i'll take it off after draining the oil...to See what happened under...

This morning i'll try to blank the side vents and remove the IC to clean it a bit.
And put the battery on charge.
