Yep, a Sunny in sunny Portugal... but not much sun right now... ahahhahahah... in fact is raining alot... LOL

nomad wrote:Im intrested in these coilovers how these were done .... is the bottom half a stock shock  cut then welded to a threaded tube ?

The Compomotives are 16"...

The coilovers were custom made by myself, as most of the car...

It´s stock GTI struts, welded ford capri/escort sleeves welded in, custom rate springs, and Koni yellows(sentra spec V)  on the inside...

In the US they call this CSK´s, custom shortened koni´s... in fact is not that hard, you just need to know what your doing...

Way better then taiwan crap and almost every coil there is for the N14/RNN14...

This coils with the poly bushes all around, including steering rack, and the caster correction, plus the wide track of the agressive offset makes this car to handle like a dream, i love it... so confident inspiring...

0-60 in 6 sec? Thought it would be quicker.

My n/a sr20ve does it in under 5.4 and I am yet to turbo charge it..can't wait to get it done.

I don´t drag race, i know you do... i saw your project in the almera owners club... i have alot of traction issues... no LSD, narrow tyres, alot of torque, could do with better rubber etc... 0/100 is not my maine concern... just want a fast, fun car...

It pretty much obliterates anything on the road, when traction is not essencial of course... it´s fast i assure you... of the line is a handfull...

Another video, when i had the screamer pipe to atmosphere... just look at them tyres burn...

It´s so rare in Europe, i don´t want to mess with it too much... it´s the only SE-R i know off in Portugal...

I put some springs and the steering wheel...

Right now i´m contemplating selling it... too much cars, not much time or money... i have an audi also...

If i decide not to sell, the first thing on my mind are some wide period wheels, and poly bushes all round... maybe a car bra, for that US flavor, nothing big really... it´s a classic.

I was just saying to my mate I kind of miss the abuse you can give a fwd, I love to see plumes of smoke swirling past my window and I miss just being smoke the shit out of those front tyres lol but I must say being able to launch an AWD makes up for not being able to light up the fronts lol.

Nice car mate, sounds evil in the vid. I bet the car shifts when you get going with all that power to the fronts

Thank you Bob, i´ve bought 3 parts from you, and i´ll be bugging you in the future, i´m comtenplating some mor parts for the evolution...

Just bought a primera p11-144 RS5F70A gearbox, the strong one, i´m gathering money for a quaife, those things are expensive, will be the most expensive part of my build...

Next i´m thinking of a complete GTIR block, and modify the head for the larger head bolts... do you have any good condition ones?

It´s fun, that´s for sure... not very eficient on low speeds, but like you said, when it gets going it´s fast,,, really really fast... i really love it...

If you´re gentle with the throtle you could get of the line quick... traction is not all that bad... it´s a question of habit... but generally you just want to hear it scream...  Twisted Evil
