1 Head clearances adjustment! on 28th June 2014, 7:42 am

I've just sent the to a machinist to verify all the clearances and so on.

He told me that he doesn't understand how to set the clearances on the GtiR head.

I have the repair manual....but it's missing some pages.

Can anyone help me with a guidance or something?

I am not an mechanic and be honest I have a hard time figuring what's what:(

Spark plug spike

This is the online manual you should be able to get the details from there

what do you mean by clearances on head?

are you talking about head thickness and compression ratio or shim / valve clearances

That's the gap between thecam shaft and rocker arm.
The rocker arm and valve gap is more accurate.
