They are grey, it's a bit of a stretch to plug them in the wrong way but not Impossible.

Far from a stretch when loom has not been ran in properly or clips not used
To many have tampered with most of these cars before and snap clips miss bolts leave stuff off etc etc

Must just be my loom them, and it's been messed with plenty, I deliberately swapped them over when it wouldn't fire and when in the wrong plug it was quite a stretch with no clips.

Ive seen it happen before thats why i mentioned it ..... i label everything as i strip it always have that way their is never any questions or doubt as what goes to where ...

I think its something 2 do with the fuel not sure what tho. The fpr makes a noice like a vibration noice

I did get the dizzy and reverse wrong but sorted that before i turned the engine over lol

Check to make sure you have a spark and fuel to injector rail danny

Ok so its just fuel then ???? Can you hear the fuel pump prime ????

How do i check fuel going to the rail?

Yeah fuel pump is working fine, kicks in when the ignition is on

Pipe from top of fuel filter going to fuel rail inlet not fpr for that's on return pipe
Set distributor so middle of the adjustment slot shouldn't be too far out then until you get started and check timing
Leads on the right way round on dizzy cap?
Engine timing correct?

Heat plugs up over cooker then quickly put them back in car whilst there still hot that will help fire it up
