The engine is over heating plus the fans on the rad aint turning on.
Any ideas?
I have checked the fuses and the fans definitely work.

Leighton took the pulsar out on the road for the first time today drives and sounds sweet just a couple of minor issues to sort out.

driver side of the engine bay just below the brake master cylinder. You'll see metal pipe leading to the inlet manifold with two connectors on it one is water temp - gauge, the other is the ECU coolant sensor ( the one with 2 pins)
Certainly expect it minor wiring issue.

Yeah if the sensor is either not plugged in or is faulty the ecu will also have no feedback of engine temp so you could have fuelling probs

Seeing as you've had the lump out I would take a good look at the connections on the ecu loom aswell as although the temp sensor to ecu is on the rear loom they are connected as it's the earth that is a trigger wire for the fans so if sensor does not work after testing it your gonna have to check right back on the other loom too on top of the gearbox as one of those connections carries the trigger wire for fans.

Or just fit an aftermarket fan controller if you can't find it

I think the wire in the pic went to the aircon rad.

I looked at the pic for a long time and decided the pic was the passenger side. Question
If it's the other side then don't know.  Exclamation
If it's somewhere near the middle along the front then it could be the connection the the aircon air temp sensor...

I think it must be aircon, with never owning a pulsar with aircon i never new where the aircon was in there first place, just with it being near my rad thought it could be something with car over heating.

Just had a quick look under bonnet and there seems to be a lil peg just above the oil filter with nothing onit, could this be anything to do with it over heating?

Yes mate the wire is missing for the ECU temp sensor so the fans will not kick in without it connected

I will jack the car up saturday morning and see if i can find the missing wire.
