Hi everyone well i bought my r about a year and a half a go after having two are previous to this one, with a noisey top end and knocking bottom end. Since bob sorted that of first of for me (cheers bob) it has been of the road and i have bbeen working on it ever since. the body work was in good condition however after a few months i decided to to do my own repsray on the old girl i wanted somethign different and decided on a cellulose colour called concrete grey its an ral colour.

i have added quite a few mods to the car and its gone through a few froms and now i have nearly finished it ready for this summer here are a few pics of its progression over the past year and a half

how i bought her

i then went for renault turbine alloys a front mount and matt black mudflaps

then i stripped out the interior fitted some coilovers, fittted the batter in the boot and removed the ac

then the strip down and repsray began

the masking off and filling and sanding then started

then the priming

then the colour and alot of sanding to get a mirror finish

then fitted a flocked dash

fitted headlight vent and decided the engine bay need sorting so tidied it up sprayed the rocker and colour coded alot of things and added filter location pipe wrapped pipes etc

added a laguna splitter

then i went to work on the interior a bit more i added some seats, only sold in the usa i just came across them on ebay, then i added a full safety devices roll cage

got a stianless elbow ready to go on to mate upto the the full staniless custom exhaust
i got hold of

and finally i fitted some harnesses

other things i fitted were

wlaboro fuel pump
sheep dog bov
all new breather pipes
new discs pads
fully wrapped exhaust
datsun badge to the rear
removed rear wiper and smooted
clear side repeaters
powrflex bushes
batter kill switch
intake temp gauge
boost gauge
full oil change 10/50 titan
gearbox oil change
new spark plugs
bought an uncut front bumper aswell that i will spray at some point

now she is ready to be mot,d well after i put the spare headlight back in we should be good to go and meet some peopel at some shows

cheers jamie
