Lol it wasnt working till about 5pm tonight when I finally managed to fit and bleed the bloody clutch slave cyclinder (cant the japs make anything easy Mad ) and I only started it at around 1pm when I got home. But a nice little tip for bob and it finally took around 45-50 mins, but shes all up and running and I'll wash n polish her tmoz weather permitting and get some pics posted. Just out of curiosity what is the easiest way to clean/detail the engine bay and its pretty mucky under there??

Rich.

yeah it can be abit tricky when i bleed mine through i needed another pair of hands things that are a simple job that you think might take you half hour turn into half a day lol when i had a clean up i used a toothbrush around the engine and various cleaning products warm soapy water mostly then a bit of degreaser ,carb cleaner lots of nooks and crannies to get round .

Ok I'll crack out the tooth brush very soon and get cracking with the clean up, really it could use a good steam cleaning but not too sure the electrics would be too happy.

I didnt think you could steam clean the engine, might have abit of a clean up when i do the clutch depends on how long it takes to rip out/replace the engine

Course you can steam clean it just watch the electric bag up the dizzy and bag the air filter maf etc and just do the bits that are accesible and the rest is elbow grease .
