Is anyone into r/c models of any kind now or in previous years? I used to have a 1/6th nitro pickup but now im tempted to buy an electric plane and build up my flying skills.

I used to be really into them, I used to race electric cars in a club when I was younger and up to a couple years ago I had a savage xl nitro truck and a Schumacher sst pro nitro! Such a laugh....when they work! One of my mates is still big into them! If I had another it would be a traxxas emaxx or a similar type, just easier and a lot more reliable

I had a nitro plus .... but it was more unreliable than my pulsar .... everytime i took it out it would break so gave up with it in the end ....

The savage broke ever time I took it out, my traxxas t max went out of range twice and smashed into a wall and a lamp post and the sst used to go through a set of tyres in 15 minutes!! Thing was crazy fast!!

I found mine was rather reliable unlike my brothers one. I think I did too many doughnuts with it as it developed a vibration and the brake stopped working so it was put away and is now buried in the loft.

HPI Trophy 3.5 runner here
anodised this and that. CF wing, uprated clutch, steering and exhaust.
Take it down the mine track, bmx track and beach but always needs to be properly looked after due to amount of salt and such small components.

I have a mate who makes some amazing RC shells and does drifting.
Really into the bozoaki style at the moment. Would post you some pics but still don't know how to lol.
He does a lot of custom bodywork on all makes of cars as his job so surplus free paint for his shells.
