From standard struts with rsr lowering springs. To gabs with unknown springs.

Looked better low mate. I am a big fan of a gap on a R not to low but it looked better slightly lower

I liked it lowered myself Johnny.
Gonna give it a drive to settle it tomorrow and see what it looks like parked on the road.

At least it will clear the speed bumps at this hight lol
My street is full of them and i catch the exhaust all the time. I use another road full of speed bumps when i take the pulsar out every weekend too.
So might just live with the ride hight.

Supernova

Were they the ones advertised on Ebay by any chance? The ones that came with hubs and calipers.

Hopefully they drop a little after a drive. I cant be arsed to take them off and swap the springs over lol
Yes they are the ones off ebay. They saaid they had a little leak on one of the rears. When i went to have a look they were bone dry but the covers were torn and had stains on them.
Made them an offer on the complete set and after a little haggle we agreed on a nice price Smile
They were only about 3 miles from my house if that haha Smile

Doesnt look that bad Stu I bet they will settle quite a bit, those rear gabs and stock front I brought of you (well your mate that was breaking that car many moons ago) took ages to sort themselves out they were higher than yours are now! looked gash but isnt half as bad now.

I had gabs on my first pulsar. They were very firm and the car handled perfect. The springs were whitelines tho so lowered quite a bit.
This was it.

I will see how it handles tomorrow.

Gutted I tried to buy them off him without the hubs and brakes but he wouldn't split them.

Same here. I told him i didnt want the brakes and hubs. But he didnt want to know.
I was given a decent price over ebay. But in person i got them down a little more Smile
Quite a cheap set of gabs to be fare Smile
And i have some hubs and brakes up for sale to make them cheaper lol

^ What,s the ride height front & rear measured from centre of wheel hub to bottom edge of arch ?
i'm not a fan of super low as too impractical & no point being fast if you got pick routes to avoid speed bumps or crawl in first gear because of a twig in the road :-)
Get that gash renault splitter off it :-P & put on a bumper guard & you will have a rally slag look ideal for those urban rally stages ;-)
Even if those GABs do leak do not bin them as they the best tubes for the bilstein inserts as both fronts & rears are 50mm tubes.

Yeah if he was close to me I probably would've done the same.

Seems like you got a nice little set at a reasonable price plus it shouldn't be too much hassle to have them refurbed

I will measure them tomorrow.
There isnt a laguna splitter on :/
I dont think a bumper gaurd will fit because the turbo housing has been turned around and the ic pipe comes out underneath.
Thats good to know about the inserts Smile if they do leak thats the route i will go. Thnks Smile

I will refurb them myself one of the days. I just wanted to swap them over and get mine up for sale asap... they are pretty clean to be fare tho. Just a little bit of surface rust.
The rears need new dust covers.

Thank Buddha for that :-) lol
With those sexy wheels & ride height a bumper guard would look sweet if would fit.
Would be good get some ride height measures on the forum of different setups.
B6HD 36mm rod bilstein inserts go in gab tubes a treat ...

some black flaps with a subtle nissan or nismo logo would be good plus protect your paintwork which a good thing now they classics with mature owners :-D
Never was a fan of grey R's but seen one with carbon panels & looked real good & yours look good with those wheels, grey is growing on me :-)
