Definitely worth taking the opportunity to forge the engine, ultimately decision is yours but with second hand engines being qwestonable hereI'd hate to think of the availability in the us. If you wanna do something a bit different find an sr20ve engine, they are readily available in the us and fit the head to your det block. It's what I'd of done if I could've found one over here but alas I'd of had to import from America

Thanks for this section guys
I'm from Austin, Texas USA and I have a 1990 gtir and 1989 bluebird sss-r. Got mine 3 months ago and the guy taking it off the container with the fork lift cracked the gastank and it leaks above half filled.

Welcome to the forum mate. That's no good, anything to do with a forklift and a car is bad news. What specs does the R have?

Hi and welcome.
Unfortunately we have decided to close the usa section of the site because there wasnt many owners coming on board and we didnt want the few that have joined to feel seperate from the other sections of the site.
Would be good to see pics of your pulsar and progress of your upgrades etc
