Hello All,

Just want to see how many of you have got agreed value, I have a chance to do this but when speaking to the company anything that is not standard on the car ie; gear knob, you have to list it!! They have sent a form to complete and they only want 2 pictures.

Adrian flux, I've declared all my mods, and told them it has 400bhp. They didn't ask for any pics I just told them over phone. Agreed value of 7k-8k

Ok, when you say all mods, is that absolutely everything? Normally you have to show pics for them to agree the value, I have my Escort MK1 insured with them and they always ask for 6 pictures to agree it.

Insurance companies are a joke. All I know of when it comes to a agreed value it has to be totally standard or 1 it's devalued and 2 modified cars are more likely to be involved in a accident. I just go with sky who insure mods God knows if they pay out for them like they say but at least it's fully insured for what it is. Just hope I never have to find out
