Indy

Hi chaps I ad my injectors ultra sonic cleaned last week from a company called injectortune.co.uk I've regained 20cc the car starts much better now and feels more responsive I recon for £12.50 each it's a good thing to have done they replace all the seals and filters inside and flow test degrease them all and repair em. I posted them out Monday via Royal Mail recorded and guaranteed £500 got them back Saturday total cost inc postage £57. Great service in my opinion.

Without sounding like I'm on the make I would say definately 'Yes'

Many we have done so far have either had a very poor spray pattern due to either:
partial blockages with small particles
Weak springs
Damaged pintles

If you have a poor spray pattern you will only get a partial burn on that given cylinder/s which will then give you possible issues with borewash, loss of power, difficult starting (especially when hot), poor fuel consumption, black smoke.

If your either building an engine or having one built then you should never overlook at least having injectors checked as over fuelling 'particularly on a new engine' is a very bad thing and could lead to major engine failure.
Don't want to sound like I'm scaremongering chaps but seen too many engine failures now and many are caused by excess fuelling, not always an injector fault as can be a number of other things causing it but certainly worth crossing those off your list due to their age and usage.

Good read that - thanks for the tip Indy and good to know you also offer this service Bob !

Sounds like a good addition to a service if this has never been done and/or car is still using original injectors (as is mine - as fart as im aware)
