Just been doing some digging and the car is running 370 bhp and 340 torque. It doesn't idle too good though do you think this could be due to it been forged? I still need to give it a good service too and sort out the dodgy radiator and fuel pump wires as they are all over the place. Was gunna get it remapped by Ed at fuzion and get them to give it a once over but seems a bit pointless if it was only done mid last year at FC Tuning pirat if anyone is ever up north feel free to come say hey and have a look at the car Basketball

Lumpy idle can be numerous things ... but i would say dodgy wiring to the fuel pump isnt going to help matters .... i would say being forged will make no difference on how it runs regards to it idling lumpy ...

Not lumpy as such, but when pulling up to junctions sometimes the car revs drop really low and it cuts out unless i blip the throttle then it's ok usually, just seems a little odd. Yeah they needed fixing pronto! all the wiring to the radiator fans is poor as well

I reckon it's vac leak and Prob one of the blank nipples and when he brakes servo is causing it to stall

If the mapping was done by fc tuning. Look no further. Theres your problem

My piss poor idle was caused by a vacume pipe and the little blanking pipes on the plenum being off....
Dodgy Maf could also be in the mix maybe?

Yeah I'll get all the pipes checked this weekend in the daylight lol! FC tuning not got a very good rep? I was gunna have a word with ed at fusion to get the car generally checked over, good idea?

And it's running a Nistune ecu and I'll check when I get home who rebuilt the engine and let you know. It was done back in 2003 if I remember right buddy

Lets just say (without going into detail) Gregg at Protune nr Birmingham if your up north as he's well respected in the tuning game and you'll get a good map.
If you want a trip down to Essex then drop her at ours and we will do her for you and you will also get a good map as we have one of the best tuners in Europe at our disposal plus we do everything in house

Ah yeah that's excellent! I actually spoke to you on Facebook other week didn't even realise you did mapping too. I'll get what bits I can sorted then I'll more than likely be in touch about mapping, I am up north but don't mind travelling to you guys at all! Cheers mate Smile
