But the same company, wonder who they are...

Insurers must use a risk based postcode system otherwise how would they know what risk your area be .... i mean you cant say that somebody in a nice rural area will pay the same as someone say who lives in birmingham ...

When we moved from up north to down south my trade insurance went from £1050 to £345

I couldn't believe the price difference

Fully comp on my R on classic policy was £197

Will pick another reg and see.

Good to see low quotes like these - you getting another GTIR Andy ?

For context to this convo - I renewed my insurance on Monday and thought id stick up the details for comparison:

Locked garage, all mods declared, 1.5k miles per year, 35 years old - NCB not taken into account as its a classic policy

They wanted £256 fully comp but id only had the car value agreed at £3500 (from previous years) so I called and said the values had risen and they agreed £5000 car value for an extra £30 on the premium so just under £290 all in - not bad i thought.

Policy is with Footman James but arranged through a local broker to me called Flint Insurance
