I couldnt see one but...

Would the forum memebrs bennefit from a list of specialist insurers?

It seesm their has been a bit of discussion on it at the moment I have just tried Keith James and awaiting a call back.

But another one I looked at was: Greenlight, although they wont touch me because I was a bad lad a coupel of years ago, they do specialise in modified and performance cars unless you own a BMW lol (Seriously they wont insure a BMW)

Anyways it was just a thought as im fed up of calling insurance companies.

Trouble I find is what is good for one is not always cheap for the next. It goes off a lot of things onc postcode age etc. Classic I find don't like mods so yes you get it cheap but they will use it as a get out clause should you try and claim or worse still something happens you hit others and they will pay out but you do jail for fraud

I just dislike insurance companies full stop. But I tried a fairly big list of recomendations and all were way out and others had tried same as me with full mods declared and could not get close to my quote so just think it's how we never made a list really

Yeah ill have to spend hours on the blower again. Green light won't entertain me with a non motoring conviction, Others just whack an extra 3 - 5 hundred quid on it!

Yep they do.. go compare certainly does. I wouldn't mind but I'm not exactly what you class as a bad lad and they don't even ask what it was for, just boom let's slap some cash on. I've got a list of specialist insurers from a mate who has recently gone through a similar process. He is paying 1800 on a Honda dc5 with a black box but he is still in his first year, he was a late starter lol. But he has had quotes of up to 5k
