I'm putting mates car back together and I've found mashed up plug with no home terminals are badly corroded and i can2push it anywhere but it looks like it would go on knock sensor which I can't find plug for... Now question is does apexi power fc need/usind factory knock sensor?? Oh and that other plug with single wire that for idle speed control yes?

Apexi power fc can run if set without the knock sensor it picks knock up through Ecu and flashes engine management light to warn you

apexi pfc uses knock sensor same as a stock ecu except it will not pull ignition out or pull back boost if knock is detected.
As Johnny rightly said knock detection will show up through engine management light flickering.
The knock function can be set or turned off completely through the mapping software if needs be but not really a good idea to do so.
