Just need to do the following guys.
Full t-cut mop and polish, paint restore.
Mot
Mini service, already has fresh oils and fluids.
New front windscreen.
Fit new clutch
Rolling road check.
Fit Sunny Gti bonnet, tailgate, and badges.
Replace steering wheel trim.

She is pretty clean inside as I have looked after her and always been garaged.
Underneath has been rebuilt and waxolyed underneath.
Sills are now perfect.
The reason I have kept hold of it is because I have spent loads on her, she is lovely to drive, and these Gti's are now rarer than the Gti-rs on the road.
Think mine is the only sr20ve sunny in the uk.
Quote me if I am wrong.

Hoping for at least 210bhp.
Was running 197 bhp, 5.4 0-60, 14.125 1/4 mile before 3 inch system and tri y header.
So now should aim for 5.3 0-60, 13.5 1/4 mile.
It's been a long 3 year wait since I last started her up.
Having a child puts things on the back burner.

Big spec, had over 6 years
Just a few

SR20VE engine from states
Hks f con pro gold management
Jap import Nissan pulsar 1.8 Gti lsd gearbox with uk sunny Gti gears
200 sx injectors
Cusco front and rear braces
D2 coilovers
Tarox 10 pot front brake kit
Team dynamics wheels
Custom tri y header
Custom 3 inch flex and exhaust system
Custom cold air feed

Thanks, because it will be getting used to an inch of its life.
The thing I love about this car and engine, is I can just cane it and rag it hard without worrying the turbo or boost pipes will blow.
It loves to rev....hmmmmm

that sounds awsome
200 na hp of fwd is so much faster than a 300bhp pulsar and better handling imo
good luck with the mapping and stuff thumbsup

Haha, yes thanks guys. She does sound meaty. Just like those high cam revving Ep3 civic type r's round my way. Can't wait to hunt them down when she's ready.
The guy who works on my car is away so it's booked in for 10th August for the rolling road fine tweaking as he wants to spend time with it and perfect it properly. I am in no rush. They are more up market dealing with top marquess etc... But they mapped supplied and fitted my hks f con pro, worked magic on my car and it was running spot on ever since until I took it off road.
He is on the shelf with me using a 3' exhaust system, he said it might loose power.
I just told him, I've heard good and bad about using 3' on a n/a motor, so let's see.

I would have thought 3 would be ok mate, just another thing where people have mixed opinions and experienced different things on their motors.

So much will depend on cam spec and header design, gas velocity is very important .
Well worth trying and only way know for sure is try it on rollers, 2.75 is probably safer bet but never try never know .
Ideal concept is secondary pipe run switched at higher rpm so get benefit of more torque from high velocity gas/scavenging and less back pressure once in high rpm .
Looks a fun and tidy runabout that should upset a few people :-D

Mines next in line to be worked on once they get this Renault 21 turbo out the way...lol

2-3 weeks I'd say...
In no rush as I have other stuff in my life to be getting on with..lol

New Windscreen done
New Clutch going in, my flywheel is being skimmed as it was scored quite a bit due to the slipping clutch in before
New dowels for the lightweight flywheel being ordered
Then Mot and fine tune on the rollers.

Once complete will be giving the car a full re spray or getting it wrapped.

Watch this space guys...

They called me the other day regarding the oil for your gearbox and what to use was talking to them for some time regarding mapping and so forth and they get mappers in to do their cars.
Handy reeally as they put me on to romain lewensky whos one of the best mappers in Europe for the Honda vtec which i now have so i may use him to see if he can get around 250+bhp from my na ep3 which ive extensively modified.

Interesting you mention about 3" straight through system as thats whats on my ep3 and i dont like it one bit, you may gain bhp on dyno but guarantee youll be down on torque due to cold gas restrictions.

Im in process of making my own system up which im confident will up the torque figure and generally make the car pull much harder throughout rev range.
Im confident in seeing positive gains on the dyno

Haha, small world bob. Yes they wanted to make sure and called me as well. They keep saying your pulsar. I say no sunny Gti front wheel drive sr20ve. Lol
Luckily I had an invoice from years back and gave them the correct oils to use from that.
Yes Romain works wonders on the Vtecs they have in.
Was there yesterday they play about with some amazing machinery.

Oh you've now got the enemy Honda Civic type r, tell me more... Wink

Well, they thought it would be a simple rolling road, but my car was running dangerously lean. Afr 13.9 or so affraid
Anyway the good news is they will be getting Romain Lewensky in to remap the car cheers
So at least another 2 weeks now..

1st run 206bhp, 153 torque. But running lean. More fuel adjustments needed to run safer. 13.5afr. Stay tunned, SR20VE ftw.
