I will get it done soon, but will it pass its mot as it is maybe with an advisory. Have been told as long as it's not affecting drivers view it should be okay depending on how big the crack is.

That's a fail. Anything over 40mm circle area out of the 290mm driver view zone but in the wiper zone is a fail.
Driver view zone is stricter 10mm circle for chips, cracks etc .

Our UK mot man Gostek is best man fill in current rules on this

Zone A 10mm diameter damage area
Wiper zone 40mm diameter damage area

Okay, though so. Thanks.
So what's the going rate for screens?
I have been quoted 140 fitted for a Uk Sunny Gti screen, apparently only 6 left. This is the one with the slight tint.
Really wanted to mot the car, insure it, then do it under insurance.
But oh well...

Please get a new screen.... There is a debate if it doesn't affect driver view it pass, but my vosa assessor said that if it's biger than 40mm outside zone a and 10mm inside zone a (MrB got right pic) it's a fail and I always fail stuff like that...
