So what would people have if the Pulsar never existed or you got bored of it..

What car would be your subsitute? Doesnt have to be jap but within your normal price budget.

I think I would go for something with a bigger engine

Audi RS6 probably around an 04 plate

Would love an escort cosworth . But they are more than the value of a pulsar by a long way.
I'm currently searching for my next toy that I can add to the collection .
Been looking for a clean Vauxhall  carlton gsi

For the budget of a pulsar i would get an ep3 type r and have money left over to modify it

As it happens ball age
bollox why wait so i bought one lol

Good fun little cars and can get some real good power out of them too even without a tubby bolted on

Personally I think better without the tubby enjoy it for what it is keep the reliability and a lot less hassle. Put the power down it makes (enjoy)

Me abit more than a R but not what I spend on them would be a Teg dc5 and possibly but long term supercharge it but not for big power at all

I always loved Renault 5 GTT growing up - that is the car i wanted.
1st car i had was a Nova - loved that - drove the 1.3 and 1.4 SR's - liked the 1.3's more.
I much prefer the old school motors so a sorted version of either of the above or a mint Lancia Delta Integrale - now this makes makes me happy !

one of these possibly, probably a proper replica version .

Only other thing that makes me as horny as an ugly R is a ugly but well sorted 6r4, not good for daily road use though lol

^^^ me too. Although at first glance it kinda looks like one of those little cars that did the stunts when I was a kid, you know the ones with the 2p on the back of them.
I think I'd probably go for a 180sx or a 300zx...maybe even stretch to a R32GTR

the 6r4 ?
They are awesome, have fond memories of them and great when still see them today on hill climbs and rally events as still give evo's & impreza's a scare lol .
They bit like the R really, nt overly loved & not evolved much officially but massive private owner development made them amazing and still a potential winner today ...

yeah, the 6R4 Smile
I doubt you'd find a shorty Audi like that for any sort of reasonable money nowadays unfortunately. Even if you did you couldn't drive it because of the lack of spares Sad
