Were the GTIR's offered with factory tinted windows? Or is every pulsar on the planet with tinted windows been done as a modification? Am trying to keep mine as Factory as possible, so this may influence my decision to get the windows tinted...

Not sure on the answer, but I've seen a couple of pics that looked like the windows weren't tinted and they looked different and cool.

I'm sure all gtirs have a slight tint.
But im sure no gtir came with dark tint from the factory if thats what you mean?
Some did come with a mesh tint tho.
Not quite sure what it is. Its like a white mesh..

It's normally a smoked/(purple sort of) tint or a mesh like a Stu says as far as I know. Not sure factory tho or a jap thing before import

my first one I had, I was the first owner after being imported and that already had tinted windows.

whether that was done by someone in japan of out of the factory no idea.

Well mine (car was built by JohnBoy) has absolutely no tint whatsoever, all glass is original Nissan fitted, don't want to apply a tint (despite the fact I want to) unless it was a Nissan option?

To be honest mate tint can be removed and if you want it go for it and choose a shade that suits you. No one will say oh that R is not standard due to tint as you can see so many have it anyway inc the members that claim totally standard cars
