If your not going to have a Shit load of sensors I would look for a more user friendly ecu. As you will be paying for features you will never use.

I'd would look for a ecu with the below features.
VE tuning.
Unlimited data logging.
Built in wide band controller.
Fuel auto tune mapping.
Knock control.
User adjustable CAN.
And be able to plug into a tablet for a cheap digital dash.

I'm biased to LINK, HALTECH AND MOTEC. Plus high performance academy does lots of training videos using these brands.

We have pretty good Gems tuner over here, i'm sure he can do Pectel as well. I have an old gems ecu at the moment in the car but it has limited options.

Apparently best bang for your buck on the market at the moment. People with Mk3 Supras love them.
If finances allow I might be looking at one next year...
