Soooo boxing experts who is it going to be?

I hope you are all going to tune in to this match to make up for that unicorn fairydust playfight we saw with Mcgregor.

Whos your money on mine is with triple G. Next to Cannelo he is the much bigger man and doesnt he half pack a punch. 7th round KO ginger lay out.

I'm with you there Shroom - very hard to look past GGG
Cannelo technically is a very good boxer and works amazing angles with his body shots - wont be surprised if that will be his game plan....
Just a matter of time until GGG's power takes it's toll - Rounds 7-9 get my money !

im with the pair of you on this, Golovkin is a big hitter and a proper middleweight so i think he will gradually come out on top so im going for a 10 round stoppage, but make no mistake Alvares is a brilliant fighter who packs a punch too so has the makings of a really good fight so il be staying up to watch this one

But Canelo has a very good chance of pulling off a massive upset.
Hes not to be dismissed to quickly!
What ever happens it's going to be a great fight to watch Smile

Yeah Cannelo is a very good fighter in his own right and the body shots on Smith was nasty and Khan looked dead when he was nocked out lol.

I love the fact these are two proper fighters no need to crap trash talk its going to be an epic fight.

GGG won constant presure throughout the fight Alvarez gased in the middle rounds Golovkin was constantly on him chasing him around the ring. Alvarez got some eye catching shots off and did do well but for me it was a clear GGG win.

One judge scored it 118 to 110 Alvarez which was a joke.

Lost all my bets too Sad
I fell asleep at 2 while watching it ffs lol
Watch the last rounds this morning and it looked like GGG was dominating and was forcing Canelo on the back foot all the time.
Canelo was giving back at times and in style but he wasn't aggressive in the way I thought he was going to be.
Looked like he didn't want to stand and fight?
From what I saw it was a great fight tho.
The scorecards were a joke! A massive fight like that should never be a draw! They are true warriors and one of them deserves the win.

like you Stu i stayed up all night watched all the prelim fights then as it was time for the big one i fookin fell asleep then woke up in round 8, pissed off is an understatement.

from what i saw though it was Golovkin who deffo won those last rounds so another corrupt decision by that judge, ban her and empty her bank account, corrupt bitch!

Lol we must be getting old Bob.
I woke up while they were fighting but just closed my eyes again Laughing
Definitely something going on with those score cards! How could someone score a draw?
And for her to give it so far apart for Canelo is just outrageous!

Like most sports these days it's all about the amount of money regardless of the actual sport it's the same throughout don't seem to be the passion in it anymore ...

I caught up on the fight yesterday morning... really enjoyed it actually.
I think if Canelo had of stayed more active in the middle rounds he could have nicked it.
GGG was without a doubt the busier fighter but i thought Canelo's counter punching was excellent and he landed some real eye catching stuff.
He was NEVER gonna knock GGG out so should have been more active to steal the rounds.
All that rest time on the ropes he didn't get tagged by a lot and was defo waiting for some cleaver counter work but didn't engage like GGG and that really should have seen GGG win.
A draw is questionable.... will they do it again.... probably... but i don't think it gets as much interest next time round. GGG said he wanted a Mexican stand up war kinda fight - no one gonna do that with him so pointless comments but if they do it again it's all gonna be on Canelo to up his game and assert himself for the whole fight to get the win.

If Canelo wants the title he has to fight him again.
I cant see anyone else who is capable of taking it from GGG.
Bill joe Saunders wants to fight one of them and there's no way he will take the title from GGG!
I can see bjs being matched with Canelo next but in all honesty I think Canelo will destroy him.
There will definitely be a rematch with GGG and Canelo. Cant see Canelo boxing his way to a win tho. GGG will be on him every round forcing the fight again with Canelo fighting off the ropes and counter punching.
Will be another great fight tho Smile
