When you see some of the big power cars being built of late it does make you think ''Why bother'' in trying to compete What a Face

https://hpacademy.apms5.com/anywhere/m?s=highperformanceacade&m=s_693b70ac-7be9-4105-8fb9-3c2254c35238&u=e1jq4wvfdtfk0cj46wum2cj55n348da15mu44d9j5mw42ha15mt3jdj46rwk8cj46x0kc&r2=d1u78w3k78qjyxvqewq6gw31cdgp8tbdf4q66vvd5xh6rvv75xu6arv85nu6yxbj5mrk0c1g5nm70bbed5tq6rbe5ntq4chg5nqpwbbedxtjux38cmpqevvjdhj76bbddxtq8bbddxj6jtk9cnj2uwth6mpq6ubcetmp2br&n=6

Technology is moving at such a fast rate that anything mediocre state of build/tune will be left lagging miles behind unless you are stinking rich and have a huge budget & skillset to build one of these monsters.

Money & technology go hand in hand and for majority i think it has ruined motorsport!
Even if you built a car to the best of your ability and budget it would never be fast enough or good enough to compete with any of the cars being built around the world today

Having said that these cars are impressive and you have to admire the skill and work involved in building them!

Bit like the UK Time Attack entry Pulsar yoursofunny

I know what you mean Bob. There's a guy here at my work who's dropped +£20k on a track Mk1 golf turbo and he admits himself that he's still nowhere close to the forerunners in his class. Its a very deep rabbit hole once you start down that path...my pockets certainly aren't deep enough for that! Sad

Bob be positive, it just means that there is where to evolve. If it be the end, then what would you do. Ways to go, things to learn Very Happy
Next goal 1000bhp pulsar, i know you could do it!

Ive been following this car for a few years (scorch racing S15)... Its a fooking animal! The driver "Under Suzuki" dous most of the work & builds the engine himself in his little garage at home! Well he did do a few years ago, prob got a team behind him now!

Heres a little video of the car a few years back ehen it had a dog box, before it was converted to
paddle shift... & to be fair it looks a lot more brutal back then than what it dous now Shocked
Still blows his box towards the end of the video tho  Laughing

Watch this & listen to how it comes on boost as he's warming it up on the first lap Shocked... Then wait till he gets his foot down... This thing is silly, IF I WIN THE LOTTERY IM GOING BUYING IT  Laughing

Also take a look at this. Tilton racings EVO... I honestly don't think there is a better car out there, This is next level!

You could but 4, 4 bedroom houses in Austrailier for how much its cost to build this car!

It is sickening when you see how much money it costs to compete these days, it is not just in motorsport either, it is everywhere. France got the rugby world cup cos they were willing to pay the most. Whoever has the cash gets it. You will find a lot of the elite sports people too come from very wealthy family's. As the parents just pour thousands into their training, where most people couldn't afford.

Not to take away from the build though. It is insane, if I had the money I would do that too.

Haha the Rasheen will be around the 7-800bhp mark but to get that extra 300+ ponies takes a lot more work and expense as well as the necessaryv skills to tune the thing!
If im honest with you i dont have those skills even more so with the tuning (especially with the latest all singing & dancing ecu's) which require masses of experience & knowledge to get the best from the car.
if i attempted it i dont think it would last very long before it all went Kabooom!

Thanks for the vote of confidence anyway Laughing

Guys are dreaming if they think they can build cars to those levels. They don't tell you all the trial testing that goes along in the back ground.

That sr20 is not using anything new you can't buy, any Tom dick and Harry can get those bits. It's all the little things done you can't see that makes it last.  Reliable high HP cost money and most arnt willing to spent it as there goals are unrealistic for there needs.

Well there you go, it has started cheers  Put it this way, it's only 250bhp per cylinder Laughing  On a serious note if you'd build the 1000bhp pulsar i belive that would bring in some money! And of corse the tuning is a BIG part of make it or break it.
