Random one this, can’t find the info on the net. How many pulses per mile on standard rims does the sensor give out?

Assuming a parts supplier may have this info?

When I was looking into it I found 1225 pulses/km, thats the output from the cluster to the ECU. Alternatively its 8000ppm at the sensor. Without looking back into it that's the information from notes I have written down. Im sure there was info on here but cant find it.

Cheers woody, so 8000 pulse per mile from the sensor? Where did you find the info from?

Found it, someone told me 8000ppm but said the only listing they had was for an n14 not gtir. After some googling i found this http://www.saauto.com.au/userfiles/file/Forms/VSS%20Listing%20(Updated%20-%20April%202011).pdf but indicates only for an n14 also. Not much help mate.

Looking at that chart, there is a lot of info on IMPORT models that have a vss of 2000.
All Australian made models have a vss of 8000, except for diesels which are 12000
Just a thought.
So being a pulsar out of Japan (Import models) it looks more like 2000 is the pulse.
Just my weird logic kicking in.

I’ve actually been having trouble with my right one lately. It feels damn tight and nothing I do really fixes it, I’m guessing it’s not a good thing.
