guy that used to own it was called trev and used to rally it but he sold it on and some of the goodies were removed, good buy for the money you paid though and as far as im aware its not been involved in any heavy knocks

I`d tried the car last Thursday and it is all right.
It has a big leak on tne inlet manifold gasket, and the BOV is not working and the car has a bit of Turbo Lag. I don`t know why!
This pressure regulator is missing an hose! I think that it has to be connected to the boost pressure regulator inside the car.

The car pulls well, but i think it is capable of much more.

I would say thats not a pressure regulator but a bleed off valve mate . So one port is vented to air .....

What does the Bleed Off Valve do?
Any ideas, on the BOV? I don`t know the reason, but it doesn`t work...
Probably a hose out of his place?
The engine seems ok, the Turbo runs well with a bit of lag, but no BOV...
I think that the car is running a bit slower because of that!
The guy who sold it to me, seems to be a trusted person and he told me that everything was working fine, when they load the car on the truck.
The guys from the truck company, drove the car too without my permission, but i have no way to prove it.

Bleed valve is a way of adjusting the boost manually.

Get a few more pics of the engine bay up, if there is something missing one of these guys will spot it

I might be wrong isnt there meant to be a pipe on the bov one bottom looks right then i can see the pick up on top but not one on the side cant remember where it went as it was a long time ago i did mine .... i remember i capped off one under the plenum and one off the intake to turbo

I`ll have to find out what is wrong. Probably like nomad29 said, a pipe is missing.

Maybe get a few pics of your engine bay then can work out if everything is how it should be mate .

What spark plugs do you recommend for Rally?
I am after some silicone hoses too, for the intercooler and radiator. Anyone has some used ones for sale?

Not sure for rally a popular plug that is used a ngk bcr8es .... yeah gets some pics up mate and we will see if it all looks ok

I was thinking and the Bleed Valve in the picture was fully closed...

Do you have an aftermarket boost gauge fitted in the car .... if not maybe worth fitting before playing with the bleed valve personaly i would ditch it for a dawes or electronic boost controller .

Yes mate... It has an aftermarket boost gauge.

You should be ok to run 1bar mate when you get back do pop some pics up of the bay with pipe work etc see if we can work it all out for you .

Think you may have misread my post with all things being good you can run alot more boost than 1bar but i wouldnt go just messing about with it its best to get the fueling checked properly at the desired boost levels .

I have a good fuel pump, i have to buy a Fuel Pressure Regulator with gauge, then i can push it a bit more.
I have the original Spark Plug leads, are this any good for this kind of power?

The standard fpr is more than man enough ..... and tbh stock leads are probably better than any other .
