Well I don't know if anyone else has fitted theirs yet but mine has been a complete cunt.  Downpipe and elbow would not line up and after having to take the grinder to the downpipe and cutting out 2 of the 3 stud holes I finally got it on.  Had to do the same with the gasket so maybe just mine but looks like the holes are slightly out.

Also the downpipe is in a different position and I'm unable to bolt it into the bracket as it's out by 5mm

So after over 2 months off the road I finally got to start the car today a week and half. Before le mans, talk about cutting it fine

Honest think i have a turbo n downpipe off the car might try fitment. What turbo and diwnpipe you running mate ?

What did you do mark slot them from the sides ???

Standard manifold and turbo (which has just been rebuilt) so slight possibility the snail is slightly out of position and why the bracket won't align.

Downpipe is a goose and gasket is a standard Nissan one.

Well I was going to try and elongate the holes with a drill first, but I got pissed off and dug out the grind and yeah just slotted the holes and used some washers

I've sold 2 of them on but one guy I know had probs fitting his
They do require a tad of modification

I kind of pictured what you had done lol .... im sure he did it with a jig so if yours is out then the rest must be too mate ???.... maybe he did yours differently ...

i'm waiting for another exhaust system from UK, as soon as i receive it, i will put the elbow at the same time and let all know

I'm sure one of the guys from Kent at the rolling road day from the first batch had his fitted and don't remember him saying it was a bastard.

Mine was from the second batch. Wouldnt throw it on eBay, how many after market parts are straightforward fits? Simply elongate or grind the holes

You would think they would as said be made from same jig. Dunno whole appeal was a 3inch elbow to standard fit. Dont bother me but some people dont have the tools to mod it or the skill. Lets hope the flange is happy been slotted

Well I have the 1st batch so hope its okay. So over the weekend I will attach it to the spare Gtir Manifold, turbo, and downpipe I have.

Think Welling Al (Alan), has fitted his.

It's nicely made so I really do want to keep hold of it, but so don't want to have to mess about with it.

Just to clear up it's the elbow to downpipe which is the issue and I've modified the downpipe, not the elbow

All the elbows were made exactly the same as the stock cast unit.
I will make some photos with the cast one in the jig and also with a stainless one.

It's also true that I don't have any downpipes to try test on my car:(

its no big deal anyway, just have to open up the holes in dp a little which is just a minor adjustment really
