New but not with an R

I was a member on here back in 2002 onwards maybe, so long ago I cant remember but ive got the itch for another R

At the moment im driving this

This is also my Clio 172 Cup that lives in the garage , ive just done a full rebuild on the whole car and is like new, the car is only on 67k miles

she was in a bit of a sorry state when I got her and I ripped everything out

But before the clio my project was my fiesta Rs turbo
but im not gonna upload many pics as there were just to many, again full strip down and rebuild

only old R came from Abbey motorsport and was the owners wifes I got told,i was only 20 when I had this car so it really felt quick, a couple weeks before the crash I put the new front mount on ( this was the days before cheap intercoolers !! ) and fitted a new clutch) the old one in the car was a nismo twin plate !!! but this is how she ended up ( sad face )

Im gonna sell the clio once ive put a fresh MOT on her then start the hunting, and from looking its gonna be hard to find one, there is only one on Ebay at the moment and doesn't really tick the boxes

I could well be wrong here but you wasn't originally from Rayleigh area in Essex was you?

yes there's not many good cars around at the moment and people with good ones are mostly hanging on to them as prices are rising and will go a lot higher next year when the doors open for them in the states and when the new pulsar is released.
we are buying in good examples and have been for the past month and stock piling them until next year for export

what sort of car are you after ben, something uprated running big power or something more
stock?

looks like you've done a nice job on your other marques whilst you've been away though, like the rs turbo

Well I only want to spend what I get for the clio. Maybe 3.5
I havnt really got a clue what I could gef for her as I have never seen one like mine. Ive made it a loomless engine bay and hid the fuse box and ecu and put the battery in the boot.

It would only be a weekend fair weather toy anyway.
