Hello everyone,

I used to own a black UK spec Sunny GTI-R about 10 years ago and I sold it to put some money towards a house. I have always regretted selling the car. I sold it to a guy who flew up from London and then drove it back home. Shortly after something crashed into it when parked up and wrote it off
I have been looking for another UK car but they don't come up for sale very often and they cost a fortune. I eventually bought the Daily Mail prize winners car. A red Sunny GTI-R with 49,000 miles, full service history etc. It is standard apart from a couple of little things (brakes). Since owning the car I have fitted some Compomotive wheels and Toyo888 track tyres (kept the original wheels). Its had all the fluids changed and is now ready for the summer
I have posted a wanted add on the forum for some Genuine Nissan pads and disc's if anyone can help.

We do look lovely done up in our RED suits, don't we, I have a Pulsar version of this.

I went to see it when Anth had it and he sold it to Martyn Petrie in Oxfordshire. So I had a 8 hour round trip to collect it on the back of a trailer.
It has a weeping clutch master cylinder at the moment and I have ordered a new one from Nissan and is on back order. NOT looking forward to replacing it after reading about the access problems on web sites. I have heard it might take 4 hours but my hands are like shovels so it will be longer.

So do you fancy a mag feature ( the cars that is lol) recon from a standard sunny to a fully stripped forged wide arch pulsar would make a good feature and your not a million miles from me for photos etc in the summer of course once this salt and crap weather goes

What a lovely R! When I bought mine 12 years ago it looked like a shed (still does!) Compared to yours! Great to see a standard engine bay too!

Yeh, that sounds good. Never had anything featured in a magazine before.

I just finished my Yamaha RD500 special after 20 years of ownership and was hoping to get that featured but then I sold it along with my other bikes to buy something modern (the RD is for sale in Wigan Yamaha centre if anyone is interested, Spondon disc's, AP calipers, New paint, Nikon race exhausts etc). I now have a 1700cc Yamaha Vmax. I have been riding bikes all my life but I have never experienced acceleration like it. Its a monster.
