Yeah its like a foam tube. Would say its about 20mm high
I have looked on ebay and found some pipe insulation that i think will do the same job.
Will buy some and let you know if it does the trick Smile

My Foam arrived today. It's softer than the oe stuff. But it does the job perfect Smile
Just need to colour the white writing in lol

What did you use?
I will change mi e eventually as its very soft and the seller tied it up to deliver it and has stretched it in places.

All of those are no good Mr B.
It needs to be totally round so you can fix it in place properly.
You wouldn't be able to push any of those on!

I realize the original OEM fixes in holes/tabs too.
trip to salvage yard would be my first call.

Parts of the edge where the plastic trim and metal meet are a good 3mm deal.
Theres no way you would push that stuff over and it would also sit in the wrong place on the bonnet when closed so wouldn't make a seal.
I think b&q would be another good place to look Wink

That stuff fits on edge p to 4mm although may tilt forward rather than flat & further in if tight fit.
Is a pain as not a particularly standard fitting edge :-/
