Anyone know if the Nissan avenir gt sr20det runs the same crankshaft all a gtir??

Not 100% on the above but pritty sure the gtir one is specific due to bearing size and flywheel bolts

Someone needs sort out the robot.txt form on this site as that why searching is f00king useless, it stopping google bots so the google site search is useless & also reducing google results on the site which bad all round :-/

Been told you can use a 53j crank, any ideas what car this comes out of?

53j crank is out of the red top sr20 det found in the PS13 Silvia buddy, and probably other s bodied nissans

Sure the silvia crank is completely different different size rods etc

Yup I think it is mate, iirc the big ends are 17mm wide and the hole centres for the flywheel are different just like say S14 cranks, they may even be the same part, I know the rods are as when I rebuilt my sisters Silvia engine I had to replace one of the rods and that was the same as S14.

You can still use them, read link in my earlier post.
Would only use one if totally stuck on a crank which to be honest is not likely in UK as loads about if got time & a regrind on standard 54c crank would be better than messing around with a 53j
