I'm going to try and remove that long bolt that connects the rear tie arms to the rear hub. It's seized up real good.

I know there is a thread where someone was having the same problem but can't find it.

Also do I need to use the long bolt, when I get it out, could I use 2 bolts on either side instead? scratch

I think it was that nice welsh man mr burrows who done this recently & bought new bolts from Nissan (price not too bad) . Give them a good soaking over a few days & they should come out. I've used a hydraulic puller to push on one end while try turn bolt head. Never had to cut one yet on an R but have on mazda b6T & a few subaru. I would use the long bolt as secures/spreads load through hub points better.

After a day and a half of swearing, hitting, burning, lubing, twisting, cutting and drinking finally removed them. My finger is bruised and have a blood blister on my hand from bad aim. But the satisfaction of getting it done is worth it, this is why working on cars is enjoyable Laughing

Haha well done mate. The amount of make shift tools I broke trying to get one of those bloody bolts out, worth it in the end though

Very Happy No cutting then?
I just gave up beating it after it wasn't moving at all. Had vernier measuring how much it moved which was either nothing or so little I couldn't notice it.

I had to cut the end off one of the bolts and the other I got an air hack saw and slowly cut it in half, it was an absolute pain Laughing
