hello from oswestry

hi everyone I'm new to this site but not to pulsars I'm looking to get my old car back on the road I'm sure i'm going to be after a few bits along the way and I'm hoping i can find lots of useful information on here to help me get the best out of it as well    thanks carl

thank you well its a long story really but this car i have now was my first gtir i owned it at a guess probably the best part of ten years ago now and i blew it up unfortunately i had an engine built for it over a period of time and along the way i bought another red one that was used daily and it was a great car never let me down then i sold that one on and my original one i sold to my brother who already had one himself and i went on to buy an evo 6 and then started to spend all my money on that it was also a really good car to me but although it was by far the fastest car I've had i never had the same grin as i got in the pulsars   i then had to sell my evo to buy a house yep getting old now but it had to be done and now well about 12 months ago bought my original pulsar back and put the engine in it  official its on the road but it needs things doing before its ready really    sorry to go on but I've kept it short as i can      and I'm from mid wales thanks

Thats ok we love a good story .... what you got left to do ..... do you do all your own work on the pulsar ???

haha thats good well unfortunately the car wasn't stored very well it was just kept outside at my mum and dads and the rear arches need doing now I'm trying to find someone who will do a good job as i want it to be right not just ok if you know what i mean  i have a feeling its going to be an ongoing thing really theres so much to do i really would bore you if i wrote it all ha yes i work in a garage and have done since school i do my own work but i when i had it i was a little out of my depth and I'm hoping it will be better now going through it properly with a bit more of an idea on what I'm doing instead of muddling my way through as it kept stripping 3rd gear i must have put three sets of gears in it through the years but never found out why haha oh well

Thank you Bob I'm glad I kept hold of one as I couldn't believe it how they have gone up in price I practically gave my red one away at 1200 and there was nothing wrong with it Did you get my message I'm after a few things off you really if you have them thanks

thank you I don't have massive amounts of experience really but I've had the usual issues as I'm sure almost everyone has i was actually going to try and hunt a few pictures i have on an old photo bucket account as my laptop gave up and i lost all my car pictures and i will take some of mine once I've done a few things so it doesn't look too sorry for itself
